The Academy offers a range of accommodation options. The demand for accommodation varies across the region: while Lyon is in high demand, it is much easier to find accommodation in Saint-Étienne, Roanne or Bourg-en-Bresse. Depending on the number of places available, you may be able to secure Crous accommodation after the start of the academic year and throughout the year.

In the private sector, you can rent a room or apartment from a private individual. Since you need to be in the city to visit the accommodation on offer, it can often take a lot of time and patience. You can also get in touch with student residences and estate agents. You should make sure you have the funds available when you sign the lease, and be sure to find out what the going rates are.

Beware of scams when looking for accommodation, especially on the internet. Never send money to reserve accommodation.
