The "La Tablée" association is a social and food project which organizes friendly shared meals at free prices: this principle of solidarity consists of giving what you can, the objective being to eat well while being well surrounded.

"Les canuts au marché" solidarity grocery shop

"Les canuts au marché" is a social and solidarity grocery store, created in 2001 by the association La Passerelle d’Eau de Robec.

"Melting Coop" solidary grocery shop

Melting Coop’ is a cooperative. A cooperative is a group of individuals who choose to pool their resources in order to satisfy their needs. Access to the grocery store is therefore conditional on participation in the life of the structure. Thus, access to the grocery store is granted once you have subscribed to a social share at 10 euros (for students), and to the extent that you participate in the life of the cooperative for 2 hours and 45 minutes every 28 days.

Agorae food distributions | Agorae Saint-Étienne : distributions alimentaires

The Agoraé run by FASEE combines a social and solidarity grocery store with a friendly place welcoming students from Saint-Étienne. The AGORAé is located at 7 rue Borie, near the Cité du Design. Opening hours are Thursday from 1 PM to 6 PM, Friday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM.

AGORAé solidarity grocery store | Épicerie solidaire AGORAé

AGORAé is a place of exchange destined to all students where many free activities take place. AGORAé is a supermarket where all products are discounted at 90%. For example, a pack of pasta that normally costs 2,2 euros will cost 22 cents. Each student fills a registration form online and a commission takes place to decide which students get the discount.

AGORAé solidarity grocery store | Épicerie solidaire AGORAé Lyon 1

Open to all students upon registration, this supermarket permits students who have between 1 and 8,5 euros to spend per day once all expenses are paid to buy their groceries for 10% of their original price. Access to AGORAé is renewable but given for three months at a time.

Open to all students, this supermarket was born through a partenership between the Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the organization GAELIS. Students must have between 1 and 8,5 euros to spend per day once all expenses are paid. Products cost around 10% of their original price. Access to AGORAé is renewable but given for three months at a time.

COP1, a solidarity association by and for students, organizes free food distributions at the Escale Solidaire in the 2nd district of Lyon.

Delivraide | Free lunch baskets delivered at home

The "L'Équipage Solidaire" association delivers free kits containing food and hygiene products to students in precarious situations at home, using the "Delivraide" platform and application.

Each student its bag | 1 cabas pour 1 étudiant

The association connects one family with one student in difficulty in the same city, in order to show them support and build a bond. The sponsor undertakes to support the student over the academic year by regularly offering them shopping and creating a bond (meetings, invitations, moral support, shared leisure activities, etc.).

ENvertS | ENS solidarity shop

The AMAP (Association pour le Maintien d’une Agriculture Paysanne) in general, and ENvertS in particular, aim to put the local farmer in touch with consumers. Access to AMAP is open to students and staff of ENS de Lyon. The AMAP Solidarity Fund provides financial support to Amapiens and Amapiennes in precarious situations.

EPIFREE is an inclusive grocery store open to all students. Put in place by the Saint-André Church of Guillotière, 19 rue de Marseille in the 7th arrondissement, the store is open every Monday from 5 to 7 PM.

EPIFREE | Welcoming students for meals

The EPIFREE solidarity grocery store at the Saint-André de la Guillotière Church, 19 rue de Marseille, 69007 Lyon, is open every Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM for all students upon registration. Les Petites Cantines

Les Petites Cantines est un réseau de cantines de quartier offrant des repas partagés à prix libre afin de favoriser les liens de proximité. Le réseau fonctionne sur un modèle économique transparent où l’on vous fait part du prix d’équilibre du repas qui prend en compte les charges fixes et variables qui permettent de rentabiliser votre repas, puis vous laisse la liberté de déterminer le prix que vous voulez et pouvez payer.

LINKEE food distribution

The Linkee association distributes food packages to students. The packages consist of 5 to 7 kg of fruits and vegetables from organic and virtuous farming, but also dairy and dried products as well as dishes cooked by local chefs or by volunteers. The baskets are collected from artisans, caterers and other merchants.

Meal offer by the Crous | L’offre de restauration du Crous de Lyon

Campuses in Ain, Loire and Rhône include 15 university restaurants and/or 28 cafeterias that offer healthy meals. By presenting an activated Izly account, students on need-based Crous grant are charged 1 euro for their meal, others pay 3,3 euros.

Restos du Cœur food distribution for students

A distribution of food parcels and hygiene products takes place every Saturday morning from 9 AM to noon at 13bis Rue Girié, Maisons Neuves in the 3rd district of Lyon. Registration is done on-site by presenting the student card. Non-scholarship students must have a rent receipt or an accommodation certificate. Scholarship students must present the Crous scholarship certificate.

Solidarity grocery store | Au Marché Conté

The Au Marché Conté solidarity grocery store is open to students in Bourg-en-Bresse, depending on their income. Don’t hesitate to request an application to shop at the store. This self-service store offers a wide range of high-quality products (fruit and vegetables, dairy products, meat, canned and frozen foods, dried foods, etc.), as well as cleaning and hygiene products, all at reduced prices. The money you save on food can help you pay for your studies.

Solidarity grocery store | Epicentre

Epicentre is a social and solidarity grocery store where you can shop either after a social referral (notably from the Crous) or by coming directly to the store, where your application will be examined. To qualify for discounted prices, you will need to submit an application as a project leader, giving you access to food, hygiene and cleaning products at a 50% discount. If you can afford it, don’t hesitate to support the grocery store by buying your groceries at the “solidarity” price.

Solidarity restaurant | Les Escales Solidaires – restaurant solidaire

Led by the Habitat & Humanisme association, the "Les Escales Solidaires" project aims to strengthen social ties through meals at 2 euros and free workshops. In a family atmosphere, the “passengers” of the Solidarity Stopovers participate in the preparation of the meal, in setting the table or even in clearing. The workshops are diverse and varied: sophrology, knitting workshops, listening point, visit to a shared garden, permanent access to rights, etc.

VRAC Université | Free distributions

The VRAC association organizes distributions of quality food products (organic, local, fair trade), hygiene and even equipment at affordable prices. There are two distribution locations: on the Porte des Alpes campus (Student House) and on the Berges du Rhône campus (Lyon Métropole Student House).

€1 meal for grantless students | Repas à 1€ pour les non-boursiers

Students who are not on Crous need-based grant can ask for access to meals at 1 euro. This aid is attributed under certain conditions and is valid for a limited period of time.
