Since January 1, 2024, young people over the age of 17 have been able to enroll in a driving school and drive as soon as they obtain their “Category B” license. Provided for by the French law of June 21, 2023, the 1jeune1permis service meets the challenge of providing young people with information and access to financial support to help them get their driver’s license. The French Ministry of Labor, Health and Solidarity, through the France Travail teams, is launching this service directly on the platform dedicated to young people: 1jeune1solution.gouv.fr.

1jeune1permis is a simple, user-friendly service that includes a search engine to help you find all the support available in your area for obtaining a driver’s license, as well as advice on the various stages of the French driving test.
